Terms of Use

⚠️ DRAFT — not published. This document is awaiting review by counsel. See docs/LEGAL_REVIEW.md.

Platform provider: RAYDIYL OOD (РАЙДИЙЛ ООД), company number 208797056, 13 Slavyanska Street, Burgas, Bulgaria

Contact: office@rydeal.bg

Rydeal Inspect is a pre-purchase inspection service for used cars, provided by RAYDIYL OOD. The inspection is carried out by an independent specialist who works for us as a subcontractor. The report is that specialist's professional opinion at a point in time — it is not a guarantee about the condition of the vehicle.

⚠️ Requires review by counsel: Rydeal as the seller of the service, the specialist as a subcontractor (spec 2026-10-08 §3).

1. Who we are and what Rydeal Inspect is

Rydeal Inspect is a platform operated by RAYDIYL OOD (РАЙДИЙЛ ООД), company number 208797056, 13 Slavyanska Street, Burgas, Bulgaria.

Rydeal provides the buyer with the service "pre-purchase vehicle inspection". The inspection is carried out on site by an independent specialist — our subcontractor, approved by us. We take the order, arrange the inspection, collect the payment and store the evidence.

So what you receive is the opinion of an experienced person, formed on a particular day, in particular light, within a particular amount of time. It can miss a hidden problem. It is not a guarantee, not insurance, and not a statutory technical expert opinion.

By using the platform you accept these terms.

2. Accounts

To publish a request or to work as a specialist, you need an account.

Specialists are verified before they can make offers. Approval is not a recommendation from us and does not move responsibility for the inspection onto us.

3. How it works

  1. Request. You describe the vehicle and where it is. The request stays open for 72 hours; if nobody has made an offer by then, it expires. A request that already has an offer does not expire automatically.
  2. Offers. Specialists in the area propose a price and a time. Each offer is valid for 48 hours.
  3. Booking. You choose an offer and pay. The booking is scheduled.
  4. Inspection. The specialist attends, captures evidence and records their findings.
  5. Report. You receive the report. You have 72 hours to accept it or to object. If you do nothing, the booking is treated as completed automatically and the specialist is paid — otherwise someone who did the work would wait indefinitely on a silent buyer.
  6. Ratings. After completion, both sides rate each other.

4. What the report is, and what it is not

The report contains: the captured evidence with its time of capture and coordinates, the specialist's findings, the severity of each one, and an estimate of what it would cost to put right.

The report is not: a guarantee about the condition of the vehicle, a promise that everything hidden has been found, an opinion on market price, or advice on whether to buy. The decision to buy is yours.

⚠️ Requires review by counsel: how far liability for a missed defect can be limited, and how that sits against the consumer's mandatory rights.

5. Price and payment

The price of the inspection comes with the specialist's offer that you accept. The amount you see on the offer is final — VAT included — and it does not change once you accept it.

You pay by the method shown when you order.

Rydeal issues you an invoice for the whole service: the price of the inspection, VAT at 20% and the total.

The payment is held by Rydeal until you accept the report or the acceptance window ends. If the booking is cancelled or the seller refuses the inspection, we refund the full amount you paid, VAT included.

The specialist receives from Rydeal the full price they asked in their offer, under a separate agreement between them and Rydeal.

⚠️ Requires review by counsel and an accountant: the model "Rydeal sells the service, the specialist is a subcontractor" (spec 2026-10-08 §3) — the tax point on an advance payment, and how a cancellation is invoiced.

6. Cancellation and time limits

⚠️ Requires review by counsel: exactly what the buyer is owed on a cancelled booking, on a seller who refuses, and on a seller who fails to appear — including whether and how much of the payment is refunded.

7. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have the right, under art. 50 of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act (Закон за защита на потребителите), to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days, without giving a reason.

⚠️ Requires review by counsel: how that right applies to an inspection that has already been carried out. The exception in art. 57(1) — a fully performed service, with the consumer's explicit prior consent and their acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is lost — requires the buyer's confirmation. The payment flow now captures it — payment does not start without the checkbox — and records the moment, the version and the exact text the buyer saw. The wording, however, is a draft that counsel has not approved. We therefore do not claim here that the exception applies. Whether it applies, and with what exact wording, is for counsel to settle before these terms are published.

8. Prohibited use

The following are not allowed:

Breach may lead us to restrict or terminate access — see section 11.

9. Evidence and ownership

The photos and video from an inspection belong to the buyer who paid for them. They may use them freely for their own purposes, including in negotiations with the seller.

Rydeal stores them and provides access. They sit in a private bucket and open only through links we issue after a permission check, valid for minutes.

The specialist keeps authorship of the report's text; the buyer receives the right to use it for their own purposes without a time limit. If a specialist deletes their account, the report and the evidence stay with the buyer.

10. Ratings

After a completed booking, both sides may rate each other.

Ratings are double-blind: you do not see the other party's before submitting your own. Both are shown once both sides have submitted, or once 14 days have passed since completion — so a rating surfaces even when one side stays silent, while nobody can read the other's before writing their own.

A rating must describe the actual experience of that booking. We may remove one that contains third parties' personal data, abuse, or an obvious falsehood.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time — section 8 of the Privacy Policy says exactly what happens to your data.

We may restrict or terminate access for a breach of section 8, for false information in a specialist application, or where the law requires it. Where possible we give notice first and state the reason.

Termination does not affect bookings already under way: they are carried to completion or resolved individually.

12. Liability and warranties

As the provider of the service, Rydeal is responsible to you for the inspection under the Consumer Protection Act. Rydeal has a right of recourse against the specialist who carried it out.

⚠️ Requires review by counsel: the scope of Rydeal's liability as the provider, and its limits against the consumer's mandatory rights.

Rydeal is responsible for the platform working: your request reaching specialists, the payment being processed, the evidence being stored, and the report being delivered to you.

The inspection on site is carried out by the specialist. The report describes what they saw during the inspection and is not a guarantee of the vehicle's condition. Nor does Rydeal guarantee the outcome of your transaction with the seller.

⚠️ Requires review by counsel: the limits of the platform's and the specialist's liability, including what may and may not be limited towards a consumer.

13. Governing law and disputes

If something goes wrong, write to us first at office@rydeal.bg — most cases are settled that way.

As a consumer you may complain to the Consumer Protection Commission (kzp.bg) and use the European online dispute resolution platform.

⚠️ Requires review by counsel: governing law, competent court, and how they sit against the mandatory protection a consumer has in their country of residence.

14. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we publish the new version here. For a material change, we notify users who have an account by email. Changes do not apply retroactively to bookings already made.
